If President Assad plays fair and writes a balances constitution that protects relgious minorities it would enable his parliament to lawfully impeach if teh UN condemn him and thus allow a dialogue situation out of conflict similar to the impeachment of President Clinton in the 1990s.
Assad could then get exile rather than civil war

There are calls for dialogue between government and opposition by the Arab League according to Russia Today.
ReplyDeleteHowever the key variable with Syria is multi party and multi faith in teh constitution so that peace with Israel, Palestine and Lebanon is secure.
ReplyDeleteThat is what it means for peace and dialogue between Israel and Palestine over the unresolved territory of Jerusalem and for two balanced states of Israel and Paestine to develop rather than one Jewish and one Palestinian semi permenantly divided by walls and fences.
